Bloomberg's Crackdown on Booze

Citing health and crime-related concerns, the New York City mayor targeted a surprising new crowd in 2013: moderate drinkers. His ban would cover all alcohol except for beer—as he personally enjoyed a beer or two each week, he would graciously allow other New Yorkers that same pleasure.
