Everytown For Gun Safety is Bloomberg’s third astroturf anti-gun group. They claim to be about gun safety but they are really about taking away the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens. The name Everytown for Gun Safety is just part of an ongoing effort by the anti-gun community to move away from terms like “gun control” and into language they believe is more publicly acceptable.
Everytown For Gun Safety spins statistics to give an impression that simply isn't true.
That's how much Bloomberg planned to spend pushing his gun-control agenda during the 2014 election cycle.
When it comes to actual policies, these gun-control supporters are notoriously evasive and non-committal.
Bloomberg’s attacks on law-abiding citizens’ gun rights are ceaseless and never ending, whether coming from one of his astro-turf anti-gun groups such as Everytown for Gun Safety or through funding anti-gun politicians and legislators.
